Dr. Amar Al Shibli

Dr. Amar Al Shibli is a senior consultant paediatrician with over 23 years of clinical experience in child health. He trained at leading teaching hospitals and spent 17 years as Division Chief of General Paediatrics at Tawam Hospital before joining Mediclinic. He holds fellowship from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and is registered with the GMC Specialist Register since 2012. He also holds the rank of adjunct Professor of Paediatrics at UAE University.

Dr. Al Shibli manages a broad range of childhood conditions, from routine newborn and developmental screening to complex gastrointestinal, endocrine, kidney and allergy disorders. He is particularly experienced in nutritional problems, thyroid disease, diabetes, urinary tract infections and bed-wetting in children. He is a certified PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) instructor and has contributed to medical education and quality improvement in his roles as Chief of Paediatric Quality Assurance and Director of Paediatric Education.

He is well-published in peer-reviewed journals and actively presents at international conferences. Dr. Al Shibli has received recognition from paediatric organisations and families for his clinical work, and serves as reviewer and editor for several medical journals.
