Dr. Sonam Garg

Dr. Sonam Garg is a consultant ophthalmologist with 13 years of clinical experience in comprehensive eye care. She completed her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi in 2005, and went on to earn her MS in Ophthalmology in 2010. She trained extensively at leading eye institutes in India, including Guru Nanak Eye Centre and Dr Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, gaining specialist expertise in cataract surgery, eyelid and lacrimal disorders, ocular trauma, and retinal laser treatment. She is based at NMC Healthcare in Dubai.

Dr. Garg specialises in microincision cataract surgery and has particular expertise in eyelid and tear-duct disorders, eye trauma, and retinal laser procedures and injections. She has taught and mentored junior ophthalmologists at major tertiary eye centres in North India, bringing both clinical depth and an educational approach to patient care.
