Dr. Bariq Al-Amiry is a Swedish-certified Consultant Radiologist at Valiant Clinic, Dubai, with over 18 years of international experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He trained entirely at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, one of the world's leading academic medical institutions, where he obtained his Swedish Medical Licence, Swedish Board of Radiology certification, and completed his Fellowship in Interventional Radiology in 2017. He rose to become Head of Department for both Acute Radiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology at Karolinska, reflecting the breadth of his clinical expertise.

Dr. Al-Amiry earned his PhD in Musculoskeletal Radiology from Umeå University in 2018, adding research-level mastery to his clinical practice. He specializes in image-guided minimally invasive procedures—including vascular and non-vascular interventions, diagnostic and therapeutic biopsies, drainage and ablation procedures—alongside advanced musculoskeletal imaging and joint assessments. He is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) in Dubai, a member of the General Medical Council (UK), and a member of the Swedish Board Directors for Musculoskeletal Radiology. He has authored nine peer-reviewed scientific publications.

Since moving to the UAE four years ago, Dr. Al-Amiry has brought Scandinavian academic standards to senior roles at King's College Hospital UAE, Healthbay Polyclinic, and Parkview Hospital. He emphasizes accuracy, safety, and patient-centered care, combining advanced imaging expertise with precision in both diagnostics and minimally invasive treatment.
