Dr. Humeira Badsha

Dr. Humeira Badsha is a rheumatology consultant with almost three decades of experience across the USA, Singapore, and the UAE. She trained at UCLA and holds American Board certification in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, plus specialist certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound from the American College of Rheumatology. At Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai, she combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to patient education and care quality.

Dr. Badsha treats a comprehensive range of joint and autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, Sjögren's syndrome, scleroderma, gout, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and spondyloarthritis. She has published more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals and two book chapters, and has led multiple international clinical studies. Her approach emphasises detailed explanation of conditions and personalised treatment adjustments.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Badsha founded the Middle East Arthritis Foundation in 2006 and serves as Vice Chairperson, directing awareness campaigns and patient support programmes.
