Dr. Samer Shoshan

Dr. Samer Shoshan is an Associate Staff Physician in the Critical Care Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He brings over 20 years of clinical experience, having trained and worked extensively in Egypt before joining Cleveland Clinic. His background includes managing complex critical patients across neurosurgery recovery, general medical emergencies, cardiac complications, and trauma cases.

Dr. Shoshan specializes in intensive care medicine with particular expertise in post-operative neurosurgical care, neurological emergencies, and toxicology. He has managed patients with life-threatening conditions including septic shock and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). His clinical experience spans managing trauma patients, cardiac complications after surgery, and coordinating multidisciplinary critical care teams.

He completed his medical degree and specialist training in critical care medicine at the University of Alexandria, where he also earned a master's degree in critical care medicine and toxicology.
