Dr. Rehab Aamer

Dr. Rehab Aamer is Head of the Anesthesia Department at Fakih IVF, part of NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi. She is a Consultant Anesthesiologist with over 23 years of clinical experience, having trained in Egypt and worked extensively in Abu Dhabi hospitals before her current role. Dr. Aamer specializes in total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA), a modern technique that uses IV medications rather than gases; monitored anesthesia care, which provides light sedation with local anesthesia for minor procedures; and regional anesthesia, which numbs specific body areas while keeping the patient awake.
