Dr. Ahmed ElMansoury

Dr. Ahmed ElMansoury is a Consultant Pulmonologist with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience in respiratory medicine and critical care. He currently works at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah and holds academic positions as Clinical Associate Professor at Sharjah University and Professor of Pulmonary Medicine at Ain Shams University in Egypt. His background combines university teaching with hands-on consultant practice across the Middle East.

Dr. ElMansoury's clinical expertise spans interventional bronchoscopy (keyhole airway procedures), medical thoracoscopy (minimally invasive chest wall evaluation), sleep medicine, and pulmonary function testing — the measurement of how well lungs work. He is experienced in managing critically ill patients with respiratory failure in intensive care units. His practice covers the full range of chronic lung diseases including asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), tuberculosis, and allergic conditions affecting the lungs.

He is actively involved in training the next generation of doctors through undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and has published peer-reviewed research in respiratory medicine.
