Dr. Othman Mohammad Othman

Dr. Othman Mohammad Othman is a Specialist in Otolaryngology at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai, with over a decade of clinical experience across Syria and the UAE. He trained at Damascus University, obtaining both his MBBS and MD in Otolaryngology, and holds certification from the Arab Board and Syrian Board. His career began as an ENT resident at Al-Mouwasat University Hospital in Syria, where he developed expertise in complex ear, nose, and throat conditions before relocating to the UAE to join Al Zahrawi Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah.

Dr. Othman treats a broad range of conditions affecting hearing, the nose and sinuses, throat, and balance. He specializes in rhinology and allergies, managing allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, turbinate enlargement, and deviated septums that cause breathing difficulties. He diagnoses and treats hearing loss, tinnitus, ear infections, eardrum perforations, and otosclerosis, performing hearing assessments and tympanometry. For sleep and breathing issues, he addresses obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. He also manages recurrent throat infections, voice changes, hoarseness, swallowing difficulties, and childhood speech delay and hearing problems.

Dr. Othman performs a comprehensive range of procedures including functional endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, turbinate reduction, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, laryngoscopy, nasal endoscopy, ear tube insertion, eardrum repair, and middle ear microsurgery. He is fluent in both Arabic and English and is a member of the Syrian Society of Otolaryngology.
