Dr. Jalal Nafach

Dr. Jalal Nafach is an American Board-Certified Consultant Endocrinologist with decades of international experience in endocrine and metabolic medicine. He completed his Fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. He established a successful private endocrinology practice for over ten years before relocating to Dubai in 2012, where he now works part-time at Al Zahra Hospital alongside roles at Dubai Diabetes Center and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Nafach manages the full spectrum of endocrine disorders, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity and weight management, thyroid diseases including thyroid cancer, pituitary and adrenal disorders, and bone metabolism problems. He specializes in modern diabetes technology such as continuous glucose monitoring systems and insulin pump therapy, and uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each patient's needs.

He is actively involved in clinical research, having participated in numerous international multicenter trials on diabetes, obesity, and metabolic disorders. Dr. Nafach is a Fellow of both the American College of Endocrinology and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and he regularly contributes to peer-reviewed scientific publications.
