Dr. Mohammed Al Khatib

Dr. Mohammed Al Khatib is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi with 24 years of clinical experience. He trained in internal medicine at the University Hospital of Würzburg in Germany and worked at the Diabetes Zentrum Mergentheim, one of Germany's largest diabetes centers. He has held senior positions as Medical Director at leading diabetes and endocrinology centers in Abu Dhabi, where he brings deep expertise across endocrinology, diabetology, and internal medicine.

Dr. Al Khatib's clinical focus spans diabetes management, obesity medicine, metabolic disorders, and diabetic foot care. He established a diabetes and metabolic disorders clinic at the University Hospital of Würzburg and co-founded an obesity center there. He has led research and education in diabetic foot syndrome and functional diagnostic procedures, and regularly presents at national and international medical conferences.
