Dr. Ahmad Mansour Abu Alika

Dr. Ahmad Mansour Abu Alika is a Specialist Neurologist at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital in Sharjah, bringing 30 years of clinical experience. He trained at Damascus University, where he earned his Doctor in Medicine qualification, and completed a Master's Degree in Neurology through Syria's Ministry of Health. Early in his career, he established the Department of Neurology at Daraa National Hospital in Syria and led it for nearly two decades before relocating to the UAE.

Dr. Abu Alika has worked across multiple leading hospitals in the Emirates, including Khorfakkan Governmental Hospital, Zulekha Hospital, Al Garhoud Private Hospital in Dubai, and Highgate International Hospital. He manages a comprehensive range of neurological conditions: headaches, migraines, epilepsy and seizures, stroke (both bleeding and clotting types), Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Bell's palsy, involuntary movements, spasticity, back and neck pain, and cranial and peripheral nerve diseases. He performs electroencephalography (EEG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) to aid diagnosis.

Dr. Abu Alika is an active participant in international medical education, having lectured at the American Academy of Neurology's Continuing Medical Education programme. He maintains memberships in the Syrian Doctors Syndicate, the Syrian Association of Neurological Sciences, and the World Federation of Neurology. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
