Dr. Robert Howe

Robert is a physiotherapist with a person-centred approach to rehabilitation, based at Mediclinic. He graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh in 2014 with a BSc in Physiotherapy, following earlier studies in Physiology and Health Science in Ireland. He brings over a decade of clinical experience spanning multiple physiotherapy disciplines.

During his time with the NHS, Robert worked across musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, respiratory, neurology and cardiothoracic physiotherapy. He built particular expertise working with football and rugby teams, developing and delivering tailored rehabilitation programmes for athletes. Most recently, he specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at a Dubai clinic, where he gained experience treating Arabic-speaking patients. He joined Mediclinic in 2019.

Robert treats a broad range of conditions, from post-operative recovery after joint surgery to sports injuries and chronic pain. He uses manual therapy, dry needling and exercise-based approaches, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual patient's needs and goals.
