About Dr. Rimpi Datta
Dr. Rimpi Datta is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with more than 16 years of experience in women's health. She joined Mediclinic Abu Dhabi in December 2009 and previously worked at Ahalia Hospital in Abu Dhabi and as a specialist in Gujarat, India, where she managed both routine and complex obstetric and gynaecological cases.
Dr. Datta performs a wide range of gynaecological procedures including minimally invasive surgery (hysteroscopy), open abdominal surgery (laparotomy), fibroid removal (myomectomy), hysterectomy, ovarian cyst removal, and caesarean sections. She also conducts cervical cancer screening with colposcopy, manages hormonal imbalance, provides infertility assessment and counselling, and handles both normal vaginal deliveries and instrumental deliveries (using forceps or vacuum).
