Dr. Shruthi Medappa Lakshmanrao

Shruthi Medappa is a registered dietitian with 19 years of clinical nutrition experience across India and the UAE. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics in 2005, followed by a Master's in Food Science and Clinical Nutrition from Mysore University in 2007. She began her career as Chief Dietician at Vikram Hospital and Heart Care in Mysore, India, before relocating to the United Arab Emirates in 2009, where she has worked as a Senior Dietician at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi.

Shruthi specializes in helping patients manage diabetes through dietary changes, achieve sustainable weight loss, and improve their overall health through nutrition. She has conducted multiple nutrition education programs, delivered radio talks on health topics, judged nutrition cooking shows, and led workshops and seminars for community groups. She is a lifetime member of the Indian Dietetic Association and regularly participates in continuing medical education on nutrition topics.
