Dr. Jacqueline Hawker

Dr Jacqueline Hawker is a women's and pelvic health physiotherapist trained in South Africa and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy, a Clinical Masters degree in Pelvic Health and Continence, and certification in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and Clinical Pilates. She has worked across family clinics and participated in mentorship programmes in South Africa, Hong Kong and Australia, building extensive experience in pelvic health rehabilitation. Since relocating to Dubai, Jacky has collaborated with pelvic health specialists and other doctors, and now leads the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Programme at Mediclinic Middle East.

Jacky treats a broad range of pelvic and bladder conditions including stress incontinence, urge incontinence and overactive bladder; bowel problems such as faecal incontinence and constipation; pain during intercourse; pelvic prolapse; and pelvic pain affecting the lower back, hips and sacrum. She also provides pre-natal and post-natal rehabilitation, including birth preparation and post-natal screening, as well as recovery after abdominal and pelvic surgery such as prolapse repair and hysterectomy. She uses tailored exercise programmes, Clinical Pilates (mat and reformer), strength training, pelvic floor biofeedback and electrical stimulation.

Jacky believes in helping patients return to the activities they love through controlled, intentional movement. She designs progressive rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's specific goals and needs, working with adults, men, women and children across a range of pelvic health concerns.
