Dr. Marc Takla

Dr Marc Takla is a French Board-Certified Cardiologist with over 15 years of experience in cardiovascular care across prestigious institutions in France and the UAE. He trained as a resident in cardiology at Lille University (2009–2013), then worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at the University Hospital in Nancy (2013–2017) and as a private consultant cardiologist in Nice (2017–2022), before joining Emirates Specialty Hospital in Dubai Healthcare City where he is Head of the Cardiology Department.

Dr Takla specialises in preventing heart disease and assessing cardiovascular risk factors, alongside managing high blood pressure, chest pain, heart attacks, heart failure, valve disease, irregular heartbeats, and blood clots in the lungs. He is highly skilled in echocardiography (including stress echo and transesophageal echo), ECG interpretation, Holter heart-rhythm monitoring, and vascular ultrasound of the carotid arteries and leg blood vessels.
