Dr. Asad Shah

Dr. Asad Shah is a Consultant Radiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi with over 21 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal imaging. He trained at prestigious institutions across the UK and Pakistan, including King Edward Medical College and King's College London Hospital, and has worked across both the UAE and the UK health systems. He holds registration with the General Medical Council (UK) and the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Shah's expertise covers all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging for orthopaedic and rheumatology patients. He performs advanced MRI imaging of joints and soft tissues, ultrasound-guided injections into joints and the spine, and image-guided biopsies of bone and soft tissue. He also specialises in trauma and sports imaging and the diagnosis of bone and soft tissue cancers.

He is a member of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology, the Royal College of Radiologists (UK), the Emirates Society of Radiology and the Emirates Club of Musculoskeletal Radiology.
