Dr. Faiza Badawi Mahgoub

Dr. Faiza Badawi Mahgoub is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Medcare Women & Children Hospital in Dubai, with 40 years of clinical experience. She trained in Sudan, where she earned her MBBS and began her career, then progressed through the UK (Scotland and England) for specialist training, completing her MRCOG exams there. She has since returned to the UAE to lead clinical work with government health services.

Dr. Mahgoub is particularly known for managing complex obstetric cases—abnormal and high-risk pregnancies, recurrent miscarriage, and post-menopausal symptoms. Her main expertise lies in urogynaecology (disorders affecting the bladder and pelvic support), where she treats pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse, and incontinence using both medical and surgical approaches, including tension-free vaginal tape fascial repair. She founded the first urogynaecology clinic in the UAE in 2005.

She holds FRCOG (fellowship from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists), is a past representative of the RCOG overseas committee for the UAE, and maintains active membership in the Sudan Medical Association and Emirates Medical Association. She speaks Arabic and English fluently.
