Dr. Imane Guermah

Dr. Imane Guermah is a Consultant Nephrologist at Mediclinic City Hospital and Mediclinic Al Tawar Dialysis Centre with over 10 years of clinical experience. She completed her nephrology training in Barcelona, Spain, in 2016 and later practiced at Tenon Hospital in Paris, one of France's leading centers, where she managed kidney transplantation and clinical nephrology services until 2020. She holds Spanish board certification in nephrology and has worked as Regional Medical Head for a home dialysis group across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Dr. Guermah specializes in the full range of kidney disease management, from diagnosis and treatment of chronic and acute kidney disease to advanced therapies including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home dialysis programs. She has particular expertise in autoimmune kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, kidney transplantation, kidney stone management, resistant high blood pressure, and diabetic kidney disease. Her research contributions have been recognized internationally, including an award from the Spanish Society of Nephrology for her work on tubulointerstitial nephritis.

She is fluent in French, Arabic, Spanish, and English, and holds French and Moroccan nationality. Dr. Guermah is an active member of the European Renal Association and the European Dialysis and Transplantation Association.
