Dr. Shereef Elbardisy

Dr. Shereef ElBardisy is a Senior Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology Consultant with 30 years of clinical experience, including more than 11 years practicing in the UAE. He is a graduate of Cairo University and holds a Medical Doctorate from Al Azher University. He received advanced training in interventional cardiology at the National Heart Institute in Cairo, the largest heart specialist center in the Middle East and Africa, where he continues as a Consultant.

Dr. ElBardisy has performed over 2,000 procedures in the UAE, with particular expertise in complex coronary interventions including left main angioplasty, bifurcation angioplasty, bypass graft angioplasty, and treatment of severely calcified coronary arteries. He specializes in managing chronic total occlusions using both forward and backward approaches, emergency heart care, and implanting pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). He uses radial access techniques for heart catheterization, which are less invasive than traditional approaches.
