Dr. Tamer Fady Youssef Yacoub

Dr. Tamer Fady is a Professor of General Surgery, Oncology, and Reconstructive Surgery at Mansoura University in Egypt, bringing over 31 years of clinical, academic, and surgical expertise. He trained extensively in Europe, serving as a Visiting Surgeon at the prestigious Montpellier Val d'Aurelle Cancer Center in France, one of the continent's leading oncology institutions, where he specialized in advanced breast cancer management and reconstructive techniques. Since 2017, he has been practicing in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, where he continues to advance surgical oncology services across regional hospitals.

Dr. Fady's clinical expertise spans breast surgery for benign and malignant conditions, oncoplastic breast surgery (combining cancer removal with cosmetic reconstruction), and all breast reconstruction methods. He also performs advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures including colectomy (bowel resection), cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal), and hernia repair, as well as body contouring using liposuction and abdominoplasty. He has additional expertise in head and neck surgery, including thyroid and salivary gland procedures with lymph node dissection for cancer.

An internationally recognized educator, Dr. Fady has trained surgeons in breast surgery across more than 15 countries in the Mediterranean region through live demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on workshops. He co-organizes the annual Multi-Disciplinary Breast Cancer Congress and Emirates Surgical Society meetings in the UAE, fostering regional and international collaboration in surgical oncology.
