Dr. Hamed Abbasi

Dr. Hamed Abbasi is an ophthalmologist and cornea specialist with over nine years of clinical and surgical experience. He trained at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, one of Iran's leading medical institutions, where he completed his medical degree and ophthalmology residency, followed by a dedicated fellowship in cornea and anterior segment surgery. He also holds a medical degree from Hamedan University of Medical Sciences, where he graduated top of his class and was recognized as a member of the National Elite Foundation.

Dr. Abbasi performs a wide range of advanced eye surgeries, including laser vision correction (PRK and FemtoLASIK), FemtoSMILE, phakic intraocular lenses, and modern cataract surgery. He has particular expertise in managing keratoconus and performing complex corneal transplants such as DALK, DSAEK, and penetrating keratoplasty. His practice also includes cosmetic eyelid surgery (upper and lower blepharoplasty) and treatment of dry eye and ocular surface conditions.
