Dr. Amal Hantoush Al Ali

Dr. Amal Hantoush Al Ali is a specialist physician in general surgery at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with 9 years of clinical experience. She trained in France, where she completed advanced qualifications in general and digestive surgery from the University of Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier, and holds specialist credentials recognised by the French Medical Board.

Dr. Al Ali specialises in colorectal surgery, colon cancer management, and complex abdominal wall hernia repair, with a particular focus on minimally invasive (keyhole) laparoscopic techniques. She has completed specialist fellowship training in colorectal surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), a heated chemotherapy technique used in selected cancer cases. She is also certified in organ harvesting for liver and pancreatic transplantation.

She is committed to collaborative, multidisciplinary patient care and uses modern surgical techniques to optimise outcomes. Dr. Al Ali works across both Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City and has prior experience at Rashid Hospital, where she completed additional trauma training.
