Dr. Abdelhameed Mostafa Elmesery

Dr. Abdelhameed Elmesery is head of the Pediatric department at NMC Healthcare Abu Dhabi and a consultant pediatrician with over 22 years of experience across the Middle East and North Africa. He trained in Egypt, worked as a pediatrician and neonatologist in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and has been providing pediatric and neonatal care in the UAE since 2016. He is fluent in Arabic and English, enabling clear communication with families from diverse backgrounds.

His clinical focus is pediatric respiratory care and neonatal medicine. He diagnoses and treats a broad range of childhood conditions including asthma, allergies (atopy), chronic lung disease, cystic fibrosis, and congenital lung abnormalities. As a newborn and infant specialist, he provides expert care for premature and newborn babies requiring specialized attention during their early development.
