Dr. Katheeja Basheer

Ms Katheeja is a dietitian and nutritionist with over 12 years of experience in the Middle East, currently practising at WeightStyle Management Centre in Sharjah. She holds a Master's degree in Dietetics and Food Service Management and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition from Harvard Medical International Associated Institute, along with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Anna Adarsh College. A gold medallist in Clinical Nutrition and university rank holder, she brings both academic distinction and substantial clinical experience to patient care.

Throughout her career in the region, Ms Katheeja has supported healthcare across more than 240 centres, helping approximately one million patients resolve dietary and nutrition-related issues. Her expertise spans clinical nutrition assessment, dietary counselling, and personalised nutrition planning for weight management and chronic disease prevention. She works with patients of all ages to develop sustainable eating patterns and lifestyle changes.

Ms Katheeja is highly engaged in public health education, regularly contributing nutrition advice through radio broadcasts, newspaper articles, and online platforms across the UAE. She is also a sought-after guest speaker at universities, corporate settings, and schools, sharing evidence-based nutrition guidance with diverse audiences.
