Dr. Hazem Hseino

Mr Hazem Hseino is a Consultant Vascular and Trauma Surgeon who completed the Irish Higher Surgical Training Scheme in 2019 and went on to undertake specialist fellowship training in Diabetic Limb Salvage Vascular Surgery at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. He was appointed as Consultant at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust in March 2020 and joined Mediclinic Dubai in June 2023. He holds fellowship credentials from both the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and the European Board of Vascular Surgery.

Mr Hseino specialises across the full range of vascular surgery, including treatment of blocked arteries in the legs and pelvis (using balloon angioplasty or bypass grafts), carotid artery disease, varicose vein treatment using endovenous laser, aneurysm repair (both traditional open surgery and keyhole endovascular techniques), and vascular access surgery for dialysis. He has a particular clinical interest in diabetic foot complications and the management of chronic wounds and ulcers that are difficult to heal.

Beyond clinical practice, Mr Hseino is actively involved in surgical education and training; he holds a doctorate degree in Surgical Education and serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Leeds University. He maintains a substantial private practice and is well-positioned to manage both routine and complex vascular cases with a focus on limb preservation in high-risk patients.
