Dr. Elie Abdallah

Dr Elie Abdallah is a consultant pulmonologist and sleep medicine specialist at Mediclinic Dubai, where he also heads the Medicine Department and runs the Sleep Laboratory for the Mediclinic platform. He trained in Internal Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse, New York (2002–2005), followed by fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the same institution (2005–2008). During his fellowship, he gained additional experience working part-time in emergency and intensive care units at VA Hospital in Syracuse.

Dr Abdallah spent six years in private practice in Greensburg, Pennsylvania (2008–2014), where he worked as a consultant in pulmonology, critical care, and sleep medicine. He brings broad experience in managing both acute and chronic lung conditions—from asthma and pneumonia to complex cases like pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, and pulmonary hypertension. He is also skilled in sleep disorders, mechanical ventilation, smoking cessation, and oxygen therapy.

A good fit if you need expert diagnosis and management of chronic lung disease, sleep disorders including sleep apnea, or specialist input on complex respiratory conditions. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
