Dr. Sami Alassi

Dr. Sami Alassi is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai, with over 30 years of clinical experience. He trained at Damascus University for his medical degree and completed ENT specialization at Aleppo University's academic hospital. He currently serves as Medical Director of Emirates SportsMED, where he provides care for both adults and children.

Dr. Alassi treats a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions using both medical management and surgical techniques. His surgical skills include septoplasty (straightening the nasal septum), rhinoplasty (reshaping the nose), endoscopic sinus surgery, and removal of tonsils and adenoids using coblation technology. He manages hearing problems, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), vertigo and balance disorders, sleep apnoea, snoring, and voice disorders including hoarseness and chronic cough. He also handles urgent situations such as nosebleeds and foreign body removal.
