Dr. Nikola Vagic

Dr. Nikola Vagic is an orthopedic spine surgeon and traumatologist with 28 years of clinical experience across Europe and the UAE. He trained at the Medical College University of Belgrade, Serbia, and completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Klinik Harlaching in Munich, Germany. His career has included leading roles at major trauma and orthopedic centers, including Rashid Hospital in Dubai, the Institute of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology in Serbia, and the Spinal Centre of the Emergency and Trauma Department in Belgrade.

Dr. Vagic treats a wide spectrum of spine conditions—including deformities, traumatic injuries, infections, and tumors—using both traditional and minimally invasive techniques such as spinal fusion, microdiscectomy, disc replacement, kyphoplasty, and vertebroplasty. He also manages fractures of the arms, legs, and pelvis, and performs hip and knee replacements. His expertise extends to pain management through epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks, as well as sports medicine and orthopedic trauma.

He is a faculty member and global surgeon within the AO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthese), a leading not-for-profit surgical network, and holds membership in SICOT and AO Spine.
