Dr. Sumitra Mani

Dr. Sumitra Mani is a Specialist Paediatrician at Medcare Medical Centre's Marina branch in Dubai. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) from Madras Medical College in India and went on to earn a postgraduate diploma in child health from Rajiv Gandhi Medical University. She trained extensively in paediatrics across the UK at Liverpool Women's Hospital and Alder Hey Hospital—one of Europe's largest children's hospitals—where she gained broad experience in general paediatrics, neonatal care, paediatric emergency medicine, gastroenterology and oncology. She is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in the UK.

Dr. Mani's clinical expertise covers newborn care, growth monitoring, developmental milestones, immunisations and childhood infections. She manages allergies, asthma, digestive problems (including gastritis and diarrhoea), obesity and nutritional counselling. She also carries out developmental and behavioural assessments and treats both acute and chronic paediatric illnesses.
