Dr. Oksana Hunko

Oksana Hunko is a clinical psychologist at Medcare Camali Clinic in Jumeirah with a Master's degree in clinical psychology from the National Pirogov Memorial Medical University in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. She trained in Ukraine before moving to Dubai, where she has worked at Kind Care Medical Center and now Medcare. She works closely with other specialists and tailors psychotherapeutic approaches to each patient's needs.

Ms. Hunko assesses and treats emotional and mental health conditions across children, adolescents and adults. Her experience spans anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, trauma and PTSD, OCD, panic attacks, sleep problems, eating disorders, addiction (alcohol, gambling, internet), autism, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, psychosis, schizophrenia and dementia. She also helps with relationship difficulties, bereavement, career concerns, anger management and the effects of abuse or bullying.

She emphasises early intervention and teaches patients self-help techniques to support their own recovery and wellbeing. Her patient-centred approach means each person receives an individually tailored treatment plan suited to their circumstances and goals.
