Dr. Venkatesh Manchikanti

Dr. Venkatesh Manchikanti is a Specialist Radiologist at Medcare Hospital Sharjah with 10 years of clinical experience. He trained in India, completing his MBBS at PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and his MD in Radio Diagnosis at Narayana Medical College before earning specialist qualifications including his DNB in Radiology and European Diploma in Radiology. He previously held academic roles as Senior Resident at JIPMER and Assistant Professor at Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College and Narayana Medical College in Puducherry and Nellore.

Dr. Manchikanti interprets medical images across all major modalities—X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET, and molecular imaging—with particular expertise in neuroimaging and musculoskeletal imaging. He focuses on image quality optimization and post-processing techniques to ensure accurate diagnosis. His clinical work covers the full range of radiology cases, from routine imaging to complex cross-sectional studies.

Beyond clinical practice, he is a committed teacher and mentor to medical students and postgraduate trainees. He founded Shades of Radiology, one of India's top five radiology educational YouTube channels, and has authored multiple books and chapters on radiology topics. He has delivered over 20 guest lectures at national conferences and CME programs. He is a Life Member of both the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) and the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging (ICRI).
