Dr. Irene Gee Varghese

Dr. Irene Gee Varghese is a Specialist Otolaryngologist at Burjeel Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi, bringing 5 years of experience across general ENT, emergency care, and surgical procedures. She completed her MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala in 2012, followed by a Master's degree in Otolaryngology from Nitte University, Karnataka in 2017. Before joining Burjeel, she worked as a Specialist ENT in JCI-accredited hospitals in India and the UAE.

Dr. Varghese has pursued advanced clinical training through observation programs with renowned specialists: skull base surgeon Dr. T.N. Janakiram in Trichy and laryngologist and voice surgeon Dr. Jayakumar. She has completed the International Vestibular Diploma program and regularly attends training courses to stay current with advances in ENT. Her clinical practice covers allergy management, vertigo and balance disorders, endoscopic procedures, ear and nose procedures, and a range of ENT surgeries.

She is committed to sharing knowledge through academic work, having presented papers at multiple conferences and won first prize for her presentation at the National ENT Conference in 2016. Dr. Varghese is a Life Member of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India and AOI Cochin.
