Dr. Darakhshanda Khurram

Dr. Darakhshanda Khurram is a paediatric ophthalmologist with training from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan, followed by fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow, UK. She completed specialist training in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus (eye misalignment) at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, working alongside leading paediatric eye specialists.

Dr. Khurram treats a wide range of eye conditions affecting infants and children, including retinopathy of prematurity (a condition affecting premature babies' retinas), congenital cataracts (clouding present from birth), congenital glaucoma (high eye pressure from birth), and retinoblastoma (eye cancer in children). She performs squint surgery in both children and adults using adjustable techniques, and offers laser and freezing procedures for retinal conditions. She also specialises in double vision correction and uses Botox injections as part of her approach to managing eye misalignment.
