Dr. Saurabh A Potdar

Dr. Saurabh Potdar is a cardiologist with 8 years of experience focused on comprehensive cardiovascular care. He trained at leading Indian medical institutions, earning his medical degree from Government Medical College, Nagpur in 2009, specialist training (MD) from Government Medical College, Gujarat in 2013, and his DM in Cardiology with a gold medal from NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad in 2017. He also completed postgraduate training in Cardiology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and MESF USA. Before joining Burjeel Day Surgery Center in Abu Dhabi, he gained extensive experience at respected hospitals across India and the UAE.

Dr. Potdar specializes in managing coronary artery disease, high blood pressure-related heart conditions, and high cholesterol. He is skilled in diagnostic heart imaging including 2D echocardiography and transesophageal echo (advanced ultrasound of the heart), as well as stress testing and 24-hour heart rhythm monitoring. He performs both diagnostic and therapeutic coronary interventions (catheter-based procedures) and is experienced in placing temporary and permanent pacemakers for irregular heartbeats.

He has contributed to medical research with several publications and previously worked as faculty in Indian medical colleges. He speaks English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati, and regularly attends workshops to stay current with cardiology advances.
