Dr. Haniya Kazi

Dr. Haniya Kazi is a consultant radiologist in the clinical imaging department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. She is UK-trained, having completed her consultant training at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and worked at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. With 14 years of experience, she brings expertise in advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology, with a particular focus on breast and gynaecological conditions.

Dr. Kazi is skilled in diagnosing complex breast conditions and performing image-guided procedures including ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies. She also specialises in fertility-related imaging such as hysterosalpingograms and hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (HyCoSy), which help evaluate the fallopian tubes and uterus. At Bradford Teaching Hospitals, she chaired the breast cancer screening multidisciplinary team and led weekly meetings focused on gynaecology cancers and endometriosis.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Kazi is committed to teaching and training the next generation of radiologists. She has supervised breast radiology residents and mentored numerous trainees at the Leeds Radiology Academy. She is passionate about improving patient care through innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
