Dr. Wafaa Faysal

Dr. Wafaa Faysal is a highly experienced consultant paediatrician based at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai. She trained at the American University of Beirut, where she earned her medical degree with specialization in paediatrics, and later completed a Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition from Boston University School of Medicine. She holds MRCPCH certification and is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and the Lebanese Order of Physicians.

Dr. Faysal treats a wide range of childhood conditions spanning allergies (asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, food allergies), growth and development issues (short stature, early puberty, developmental delay), infections (pneumonia, urinary tract infections, ear and throat infections, gastroenteritis), and behavioural conditions (autism, ADHD, eating disorders). She also manages neonatal problems such as colic and reflux, provides comprehensive childhood and adolescent vaccinations, and offers routine growth and development assessments.

With leadership experience including serving as Chair of the Global Paediatric Congress and as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Sharjah University, Dr. Faysal combines clinical depth with a warm, communicative approach. She is described as empathetic and skilled at explaining treatment plans to both children and parents in reassuring, straightforward terms.
