Dr. Iyad Khoudeir

Dr. Iyad Khoudeir is a Consultant Neurologist at Mediclinic Dubai Mall with over 14 years of clinical experience in neurology. He trained at leading European institutions, earning his medical degree from the University of Cluj in Romania, then completing his neurology qualification at the University of Bordeaux in France in 1991. He further developed expertise in clinical neurophysiology and sleep medicine through diplomas from the University of Paris (1992) and University of Bordeaux (1993), and later obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Neurophysiology from the University of Barcelona in 2011.

Dr. Khoudeir's clinical focus spans headache and migraine management, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and spasticity management. He is skilled in botulinum toxin therapy for neurological disorders and specialises in clinical neurophysiology techniques including electroencephalography (brain wave testing), electromyography (nerve and muscle testing), and evoked potentials (electrical nerve response testing). Before joining Mediclinic, he served as a consultant neurologist at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain (2006–2012) and Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the International Headache Society, and the Emirati League Against Epilepsy, reflecting his commitment to advancing neurological care. Dr. Khoudeir is fluent in English and brings a patient-centred approach to complex neurological conditions.
