Dr. Rebecca Rugut

Dr. Rebecca Rugut is a family medicine doctor practising at Mediclinic Dubai. She qualified from Edinburgh University in 2004 with an MBChB and a degree in Medical Microbiology, then trained in general practice in the North of England, gaining her membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2011. She has been practising family medicine in the UK since 2011 and brings broad clinical experience across orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, emergency medicine, and respiratory care.

Dr. Rugut has a special interest in family planning and women's health, holding diplomas in sexual and reproductive healthcare and obstetrics. She is confident in diagnosing and monitoring chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes, and recognises the importance of lifestyle change in preventing illness. She treats patients of all ages and backgrounds.
