Dr. Aya Hashim

Dr. Aya Hashim is a paediatric occupational therapist with clinical experience assessing and treating children with neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and developmental delays. She works at Mediclinic Al Madar in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation department, where she conducts both standardised and non-standardised assessments to guide individualised, goal-oriented therapy plans.

Aya specialises in evidence-based interventions targeting sensory processing, fine motor skills, functional independence and emotional regulation. She works closely within multidisciplinary teams alongside physicians, psychologists, speech therapists and families to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care. She monitors progress carefully and adapts treatment plans based on clinical findings.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Information Technology, Aya is interested in integrating digital solutions and data-driven approaches into rehabilitation settings. She is committed to maintaining high clinical standards and delivering holistic, family-centred care aligned with best practices in paediatric rehabilitation.
