Dr. Ohood Almazrouei

Dr. Ohood Almazrouei is a specialist ophthalmologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over 10 years of experience in eye care. She trained in ophthalmology residency at Mafraq Hospital and completed an internship at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, followed by specialized training in oculoplastic ophthalmology at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. She holds a medical degree (M.B.B.S.) from United Arab Emirates University.

Dr. Almazrouei specializes in oculoplastic ophthalmology, focusing on eyelid conditions such as drooping eyelids (ptosis), eyelid retraction, inturned or outturned eyelids (entropion and ectropion), and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). She also treats thyroid eye diseases, lacrimal (tear duct) diseases including dry eyes, excessive tearing, infections and blockages, and orbital diseases. She is licensed by the Arab Board in Ophthalmology and holds certification from the International Council of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Almazrouei is an active member of the Emirates Society of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Middle East African Council of Ophthalmology. She serves as Head of the WETLAB Committee for the Emirates Society of Ophthalmology and represented the society at the Advanced Ophthalmology Congress, reflecting her commitment to advancing eye care in the region.
