Dr. Firas Rasool Darsh

Dr. Firas Rasool is a Family Medicine Consultant with over 20 years of clinical experience, including 13 years as a Consultant in Family Medicine. He trained in the UK and previously practiced in the NHS, where he held senior roles including Clinical Partner at a busy general practice for six years and Private GP at Nuffield Health Hospital. He now practices at American Hospital Dubai.

Dr. Rasool manages a wide spectrum of health conditions, from chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma to acute medical problems. He has expertise in performing minor surgical procedures and joint injections as part of routine family medicine care. He also treats common gastrointestinal issues like irritable bowel syndrome, gallstones, and stomach inflammation; skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, and allergic rashes; mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression; and musculoskeletal problems. He has additional training in men's sexual health.

Dr. Rasool holds membership in both the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Surgeons, reflecting a strong foundation in both surgical and primary care disciplines. He is registered with the UK General Medical Council and the Dubai Health Authority.
