Dr. Jane Arthur

Jane Arthur is a physiotherapist at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, specialising in children's rehabilitation and body mechanics. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and is registered with the UK's Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). After qualifying, she worked with the National Health Service (NHS) in Scotland across diverse clinical settings before focusing on paediatric physiotherapy.

Jane spent significant time at one of Scotland's largest children's hospitals, where she developed extensive expertise in treating children with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, spinal, heart and lung, burns, plastic surgery, and cancer-related conditions. She has also worked in schools and nurseries supporting children with complex medical and physical needs, with particular skill in equipment selection and postural management strategies. Her clinical interests centre on early identification of developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, sports injuries, and recovery after orthopaedic surgery.

Jane prioritises building strong relationships with her young patients and their families, placing them at the heart of her therapy approach. An Irish national, she is fluent in both English and Irish.
