Dr. Ebru Yavuz

Dr. Ebru Yavuz is a neurology specialist and electroneurophysiologist with over two decades of clinical and academic experience. She trained in neurology at Istanbul University, completing her residency in 2009, and holds a Master of Science in Electroneurophysiology from Istanbul University (2016). She worked extensively across leading Turkish hospitals, including Koç University Hospital where she helped establish a Muscle Disease Center, and Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital's Spine Center. She was also Chief of the Neurology Department and Professor of Neurology at TR Demiroglu Bilim University. Dr. Yavuz now practises at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai.

Her clinical expertise spans epilepsy, muscle diseases, myasthenia gravis, headaches, neck pain and dementia. She is skilled in electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) — diagnostic tests that measure electrical activity in the brain and muscles — and uses Botox injections to treat migraine, spasticity and other neurological conditions. She has published more than 30 scientific papers and serves as a peer reviewer for medical journals, reflecting her standing in neurology research.
