Dr. Sahar M. Hindi

Dr. Sahar Hindi is a Staff Physician in the Endocrinology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Medical Specialty Institute. She holds dual American Board Certification in both Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Internal Medicine. With 16 years of clinical experience, she brings a strong foundation in medical education and global health, having served as Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Hindi has broad expertise across general endocrinology with particular focus on diabetes management, osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease, and women's health. During her fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, she received advanced clinical research training and conducted in-depth studies on diabetes, pancreatic function in pregnancy, and metabolic bone disorders. She was selected among a small cohort of fellows from the US and Canada for specialized preceptorship training in Metabolic Bone Disease at Columbia University. She has published in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at major international conferences.

Dr. Hindi is passionate about delivering patient-centered, high-quality care with particular commitment to global health initiatives. Her background includes active involvement in medical education, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, as well as dedicated global health work during her residency at Case Western Reserve University.
