Dr. Dana Al Khaja

Dr. Dana Al Khaja is a Consultant Dermatologist and Chair of the Dermatology Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. With 24 years of clinical experience, she has built a career focused on both medical and aesthetic dermatology. She trained in India, earning her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, and completed specialist training in dermatology and venereology through the Arab Board of Health Specializations. Before taking on her leadership role at Sheikh Shakhbout, she worked as a consultant and specialist dermatologist at Mafraq Hospital.

Dr. Al Khaja's main clinical focus is on inflammatory and immunological skin diseases—conditions like psoriasis, atopic dermatitis (eczema), urticaria (hives), and angioedema (severe swelling). She also offers expertise in aesthetic medicine and venereology (sexually transmitted infections and related skin conditions).
