Dr. Adel Mahmoud Jibril

Dr. Adel Mahmoud Jibril is a rheumatologist based at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai with four decades of clinical experience. He trained at Odessa National Medical University in Ukraine, where he earned his medical degree in 1984, completed specialist training in internal diseases in 1988, and obtained his Ph.D. in Rheumatology & Physiotherapy in 1991. He has held positions across the UAE—including Zulekha Hospital, International Modern Hospital, Al Noor Hospital Abu Dhabi, and Ministry of Health facilities in Sharjah—as well as in Russia and Ukraine at leading academic and trauma centres.

Dr. Adel holds prestigious international credentials: Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR) and Fellow of the Royal Society of Health London (FRSH). He is also a member of the American College of Physicians, Emirates Medical Association, and the Association of Arabic Physicians Ukraine. Early in his career, he developed and patented an apparatus for hand function assessment, recognized by the USSR State Committee of Science and Technology in 1990.

He brings extensive expertise in managing rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions, drawing on his deep background in internal medicine and his research focus on rheumatology and physiotherapy.
