Dr. Annie Thomas

Dr. Annie Thomas is an ophthalmologist at Mediclinic Ibn Battuta in Dubai, bringing more than 25 years of diverse clinical experience in eye care. She trained extensively in India, including six years of teaching at tertiary care medical college hospitals and ophthalmic institutes, where she built expertise through high-volume clinical and surgical work.

Dr. Thomas specializes in medical retina conditions and glaucoma (high eye pressure), and has a particular focus on community-based eye services and preventing blindness. She is board certified in India and holds fellowship status from the Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow. She is licensed to practice in the UAE by both the Ministry of Health and the Dubai Health Authority.
