Dr. Micaela Churruca

Dr. Micaela Churruca is a Spanish board-certified dermatologist with over a decade of experience in clinical and academic dermatology. She completed her specialist training in Dermatology and Venereology at University Hospital Severo Ochoa in Madrid, where she participated in clinical research and contributed to peer-reviewed publications. She has served as an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Sharjah, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.

Dr. Churruca treats the full spectrum of skin conditions, with particular expertise in paediatric dermatology, skin cancer prevention and management—including digital mole mapping—and surgical dermatology. She performs laser and light-based therapies, botulinum toxin and dermal filler injections, chemical peels, mesotherapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, radiofrequency treatments, hair restoration, and body contouring. She also manages hair and nail diseases and sexually transmitted skin infections.
