Dr. Paolo Cellocco

Dr. Paolo Cellocco is an Italian certified orthopaedic surgeon with extensive experience across trauma, age-related joint disease and sports injuries. He completed his medical degree at Campus BioMedico University of Rome in 1999, followed by specialist training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of L'Aquila (2004) and a PhD from La Sapienza University of Rome (2011). He now practises at Mediclinic, where he treats patients across the UAE.

Dr. Cellocco specialises in knee and shoulder conditions—both injuries from sport and wear-and-tear changes in older patients. He performs robotic-assisted knee replacements as a routine part of his practice, which allows for greater precision during surgery. He also manages bone fractures, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears and reconstruction, shoulder arthroscopic repairs, and ankle ligament injuries.
